Welcome to the website of the Institute of Head and Neck Studies and Education (InHANSE).
At InHANSE, our aim is to develop and improve the treatment of head, neck and thyroid cancer and other head and neck conditions by delivering the highest quality research and education.
Our work focuses on the assessment of the effectiveness of treatments in head and neck cancer, evaluation of their effects on the quality of life of patients and exploration of the molecular mechanisms of both the conditions and their treatments. We also run undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional education programmes and degrees.
In these endeavours, we collaborate with clinicians and scientists in many head and neck centres and universities in the UK and abroad. We are also supported in this work by governmental agencies, non-governmental bodies, charities and individuals. We are very grateful for all their support and collaborations.
